Harry L. Suggs received his BA in Psychology from Shaw University in Raleigh, he went on to earn a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Corllins University in Washington D.C., and he earned an additional Masters in Adult Education with a concentration in Community Education/Human Resource & Development from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Harry is currently an Integrated Dual Treatment Therapist at Family Service of the Piedmont in Greensboro, where he has worked since 2010. Prior to that, Harry was the Substance Use Disorder Coordinator/Electroconvulsive Coordinator at Moses Cone Health System. Harry was a therapist at Charlotte Mecklenburg LME, and a therapist at Alcohol and Drug Services working with clients receiving Medication Assisted Therapy.

While working fulltime in these positions he worked part-time as a shelter manager at Greensboro Urban Ministries. Harry is a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and a Certified Nurse Assistant. Harry earned national recognition as a Master Addiction Counselor with NAADAC By testing and passing the MAC examination with Co-occurring Disorders Endorsement. He is also a CCS-I Certified Clinical Supervisor Intern.
